Bodrum Airport Shuttle Bus
Bodrum Airport shuttle bus: scheduled airport buses connect Milas-Bodrum Airport (BJV) with Bodrum bus station in the town centre, timed around flight arrivals. They are the cheapest way into Bodrum, but they stop at the bus station — to reach a hotel in Yalıkavak, Turgutreis or Gümbet you need to continue by dolmuş or taxi.
How the airport bus works
The shuttle departs from outside the arrivals hall after domestic and most international arrivals and runs to Bodrum otogar (bus station), with a stop in Torba on some services. The journey takes around 45–60 minutes. Tickets are bought on board or with a local transport card.
Late-night flights are not always covered, and buses wait for flights only within a limit — if your flight is delayed you may miss the connection.
From the bus station to your hotel
Dolmuş minibuses leave Bodrum bus station for every resort on the peninsula. They are frequent in summer but have little room for large suitcases, and with a change the total journey to the far side of the peninsula is often two hours or more.
When a private transfer makes more sense
For families, groups with luggage, late arrivals and any hotel outside Bodrum town, a private transfer takes you door-to-door in half the time. The price is per vehicle, so for three or more people it often costs little more than bus plus dolmuş or taxi for everyone.
